Nestled in the quiet hills of Westlake Village is this stunning Spanish style, single family property. The design intent for this project was to transform the interiors to seamlessly align with the original architecture of the home. In the breakfast nook and formal dining room, gilded iron fixtures now adorn the walls and ceilings while textured limewash paint brings warmth and grounding to each space. The addition of linen window treatments, antique vessels, and cane webbing detail finish the spaces beautifully.
Perhaps the sweetest and most special part of this project was the nursery for our client's first born. We covered the walls in Fornasetti Macchine Volanti wallcovering while all trim, doors, and built-ins were accented in a high-gloss pale blue. The custom window bench addition sits perfectly below a linen window treatment, dressed with a playfully colorful silk beaded fringe by Samuel & Sons.
